Name sought for new local school district

For the next six days, the board of a new Sacramento school district is accepting suggestions from the public on what the district should be called.

Ribald play off limits to kids

"The Full Monty," a musical whose finale features a male striptease, is coming to Newark Memorial High School's main theater, but students younger than 18 will be banned from attending. Stage 1, the non-profit theater group behind the show, agreed with school officials not to have the cast go "the full Monty" - fully nude. Still, because of the show's adult theme and salty dialogue, no minors will be able to ogle the actors.
