More strange scenes unfold for Amato, Stockton USD

The seemingly mundane task of scheduling an evaluation for Superintendent Tony Amato was the focal point of Stockton Unified School District's board meeting, but there was nothing routine about what took place Tuesday night.

200 Manteca teachers may be laid off

Manteca Unified School District trustees Tuesday night approved a draft budget that includes 200 teacher layoffs and increased class sizes in 2009-10.

Bristol is leaving as South Pasadena schools' chief
