King City school bailout bill goes to governor

The Assembly sent the governor a bill Thursday to bail out the King City Joint Union High School District. Without discussion, legislators voted 64-4 to approve Senate Bill 130 by Sen. Jeff Denham, R-Merced, to loan up to $13 million to the financially troubled district.
