Notes and Information
For ease of navigation, every item listed on the index page of the manual is a clickable link that will take readers directly to that section. In addition, at the bottom of the first page of each section of the manual is a link that takes the reader back to the index. This feature is fully functional only in the complete electronic version of the manual. The manual also contains some links to websites and other online resources.
Both the complete manual and the updates are designed to be easy to both view in electronic format (Adobe pdf) and to print double-sided (this is why some even numbered pages are blank) for insertion in a three-ring binder.
CORRECTION NOTICE (March 2013)
The above COE manual files now include a correction to the first page of P-014. Previously the last line of text on this page incorrectly referenced Education Code Section 3543.2. This has now been corrected to Government Code Section 3543.2.
