Question:  Can ASB Student Stores be run by a District paid Clerk with no student participation? This would be for a small operation that would make available student spirit supplies and event ticket sales.

Response:  Legally, a student store CAN be run by a district paid clerk with no students assisting. That’s the quick answer.  But, by not ensuring that students are assisting, one of the valuable reasons for having the student store, teaching students how to run a business, will not occur.  Remember, the idea of student stores is not to just raise money, but a learning tool for students to assist with their future.
