Welcome to the FCMAT Help Desk, where you'll find guidance and help for your school business and operations.
Responses to your questions reflect FCMAT's opinions and expertise but are not intended as legal advice. For matters of law or for legal advice, please consult your legal counsel.
In most cases, FCMAT will respond to your help desk question within two days. You will be notified if more time is needed to research your question.
As of February 2026, FCMAT has moved its Help Desk to a new platform that requires you to create an account, which is free and only takes a few minutes. Instructions and a link to create an account and log in are in the Help Desk Links section on the right sidebar of this page.
The new platform allows you to easily view the status of outstanding questions and review responses to past questions.
The Help Desk resources include a Knowledge Base archive of previous questions and answers. Your question and the response to it may be posted to the KnowledgeBase so others can learn from it. Neither your name nor the name of your school entity will be included in the Knowledge Base archive.
The new Help Desk platform includes a new KnowledgeBase platform, which integrates automatically with the Help Desk and will suggest Knowledge Base articles based on keywords as you complete the form to submit a help desk request.
A better search function and a list of recently updated content are also available.
FCMAT's original Help Desk Knowledge Base archive will remain available for a time as the transition is made to the new system but will not be available once the transition is complete. We recommend that users save any frequently-visited Knowledge Base items to their own computer.
